Someone check if the Battle Tower in Crystal had a Horn Drill/Fissure Quick Claw Rhydon somewhere, because I'd be shocked if it didn't.

Battle Subway in BW created teams to counter yours. I wouldn't be surprised if the Maison did the same.

I even tested it. Genned myself Electrode/Ninjask/Accelgor with No Guard and all the OHKO moves. Suddenly Pokemon with Sturdy everywhere.

Glad I'm not the only one to get haunted by that walrein, it showed up twice at battle 49 for super singles and wrecked me. Once I beat super singles at a 50 streak, it showed up at battle 52 and presumed to destroy with those sheer colds.

Except for Singles and Multi, the AIs actually suck in the other format. As long as you have Protect to save yourself from the obvious kill, you can sweep to 50 with any decent VGC team.

I actually had a pretty good run in Multi with an AI partner.

I had a Talonflame and Trevenant and my Partner had a Choice Banded Haxorus and a Wise Glasses Noivern.

Haxorus would spam Earthquake and Talonflame would BB and Roost when necessary. I only lost because a Suicune managed to tank with Calm mind and Rest, and took everyone out with Scald and Ice Beam

Looks solid, right? The problem is the AI can derp a lot and use Sunny Day or Solar Beam without sun out.

The only other pokemon I had were Aegislash and Greninja.
It taunted Aegislash so I couldn't Swords Dance, I got it down to 30% health before I died to Thunder.
He outsped and OHKO'd Greninja.
Should I switch Aegislash or Greninja for Lum Berry Dragonite?
