start a new game, the line of grass second from the bottom is hard coded to have pidgey in it for your first encounter.

you can run back and forth on the bottom line of grass forever and not encounter a damn thing until the scripted pidgey battle

I've been using Pigeot as a fucking staple in ALL of my main story teams. That nigger is always there, holding my shit together. Been my fucking bro since April 2000.
