Other than that, you may want to distance these Pokemon from actual jackalopes, else they look like real animals with anime eyes. Your Basic averts this.
I can tell that you're great at drawing, though. And you can make a very "Pokemon" design, just look at your Basic. I hope I wasn't too hard on you.
