At triples it is great. Just go with 3 coverage moves + Mat Block without Scarf. I've run it like this until battle number 50 in Super Triples and literally NOTHING could hit me before Mat Block was set. Just invest everything in speed and have a favorable nature.
If you suspect you're going to get Faked Out, attack instead.
Also it helps if you set Greninja in one of the corners. One less foe to hit you, while Mat Block covers all three slots not mattering where the user is.
And Dark Pulse can hit any target even if you're in the corner, despite not being a flying move.
