I wanted the style change to have some kinda impact on the furfrou. I though it would alter the stats or give a special ability... so i wrote down every detail about my furfrou before letting it get styled upon, saved the game, and then checked again afterwards.
Nothing.
Oh, well, does it change how the furfrou gains EVs? i mean, the three styles are a lot like the markings in the pokedex for breeding purposes (my three styles were Star, Diamond, Heart, i had picked Diamond) I put my Furfrou through super training, then tried it against another pokemon at similar performance levels.
Nothing.
I figured it must be purely cosmetic.
Fuck gamefreak for charging me a lot of pokebucks early in the game for a purely cosmetic item. That's what the boutiques are for!
