By turn 7 i'm completely screwed and ask him to just finish it.

"Seriously, you have nine monsters on the field, i have three lives, only two lands left and no defenders. Just attack and this game is yours."
"No."
"Okay, fine. but there's nothing here for me to do."
Game continues while he sets up his empire, and i flounder, unable to play anything because he has me locked down hard and he won't end it. I finally pick up my cards and leave.
Fuck the CCG player base in general, but fuck that guy specifically.
