Filling the national dex was pretty much the first thing I did when Bank came out, traded up all my legendaries/etc and finished it within a week or so.
If you've played the old Pokémon games and hung onto the saves, it's really easily, then again I was kind of lucky, I had all the event Pokémon lying around as well, all the events came to my city.
