Been handing out actual Diancies to kind of combat 8 year olds getting their shiny trashmons jacked for stunfisk eggs.

Here's my advice from another thread:

Make sure to shout out 'DianceEgg4Shiny' so new marks take your bait.

Don't send trade requests to foreigners or anyone with under 30 hours playtime, all they offer are starters and 'rare' Pokemon like Hydreigon.

It helps to actually have a Diancie to show off so they think you're legit.

HAVE MESSAGE POKEMON!

I have a box full of Luvdisc with names such as 'Trade Shiny?' 'Diance4Shiny' 'Kalos Shiny?' 'No thanks' 'Already have' etc.

I hate the lack of communication in trades (fuck voice chat)

Protip: After you get your shiny, disable Acquaintance communications to avoid angry kids with Magikarp eggs spamming you with trade requests.
