Sup, /vp/. Whenever I try migrating Pokémon from Emerald to Platinum in DeSmuME (latest version), it fails with error "Save failed..." in-game. Is there any solution?

Try a different version of DeSmuME. If the game takes a long time to start up, it's a sign that the emulator's having trouble parsing Emerald's save file.

Note that you won't be able to migrate from gen 4 to gen 5 now that Pokecheck is gone. Pokegen technically works, but you'll have to manually change things like escape sequences for every Pokémon.

use a transfer tool like Time Machine (on PP). It can transfer 3->4->5 no problem.
