and he doesnt have a decent speed so speed boost would be ultimately useless, at least in singles

you can still use facade with a status orb if you want. speed boost just does the work for you. if you want to you can use a choice item or leftovers without sacrificing the speed.

Make a "Shock Orb" that paralyzes the user, but let this ability cancel out any effects of the paralysis (which includes the actual paralysis and the speed drop) and we may have something going here.
