It's 7pm East European Time. Other times I did trades starting at 11pm till 7 am so is it either terrible timing, terrible luck or has DiancieEgg4Shiny died?

I have a box of Luvdiscs with names such as 'trade4shiny' 'already have' and 'no thanks'. It really helps when you can negotiate what shiny you're scamming. I try to get Kalos Pokemon as often as I can.

This one's obvious, they're more likely to take the egg if they see you have an actual Diancie

Apart from that it's just luck, this scam has been going on for almost a week now, and unless the kid has no internet access then he's probably heard about it via a forum or social media.

You might be trying at a bad time, I find 9-11pm GMT is the best time to scam, I can get up to 10 shinies per hour on a good day during that time window.

The scam is only going to get more difficult to pull off with each passing day so just keep trying your luck.
