Yes, I am part of that anyone. Gen 4 is still my favorite generation and I'd love for them to bring it into 3D. As long as it also brings along all of the fixes Platinum had.

My guess is that we will see gen 7 on the 3ds but no remakes, gen 8 however i can imagine d/p remakes. For me its too soon even though d/p is where i really got into pokemon battling and i loved the region, i dont need it right now.

On this note, I really wonder what gen 7's engine will look/be like. I kinda like what gen 5 did in regards to gen 4, by making the sprites taller and better looking and just giving the world a sense of realistic dimension overall.

I wonder if gen 7 will be something akin to that, in that it improves on gen 6's engine, assuming it does indeed come to the 3DS.

Gen 4 kinda got me uninterested in Pokemon, remakes wouldn't get me excited at all.

IF they're going to remake Kanto again I'd like to see it on a home console instead just so it's a bit more fresh. Hell, I might even get more interested in buying a Wii U

I like the 'difficulty' of the game, but the region itself feels blander than even Kanto and/or Kalos. I remember hating Mt. Coronet except for the peak, and that snow route ffs. Perhaps I even remember Unova routes better.

Really? I actually liked the stuff in Platinum, and stuff like the moon dou islands, along with the other locations made it feel great. I'm bored with Kalos because there i really nothing as good to explore, even when comparing it to D/P only.

Maybe if we were able to visit places that added flavor, like where the location of Xerneas/Yveltal where hidden, it would have been decent.

That being said, I look foreward to Gen 4 remakes. Maybe we might even have a proper Hall of Origin event this time.

Most people here can't remember anything because the routes and areas while moderately well designed are simply uneventful, besides the usual trainers and tall grass. Compare this to the superior design in Black and White, it's almost as if DP's maps were made in a fan game (they were the first ds pokemon games so I'll give them that). Route 210 was a nice change of pace with all the fog in the waterfall area. Route 212 was long and diverse with tall grass, water and swamp areas. The post game route on Heatran's island were nice too.
All in all I think HGSS and BW had more flavor in their design and DPPt was kinda hit and miss in that area. Hopefully if they remake them they'll be more lively and eventful.
