The slow text thing is granted kinda annoying, but aside from that, the game is very well polished. You can develop, build, and customize a pretty sizable area. The music is magnificent. The game looks really good, and has little things like being able to make your partner dizzy by running circles around them, or high fiving them in dungeons. The story was written better than previous games. (Though it was less involving) The characters were also way more likable, I found. (I especially liked Emolga.) Detours and completionist lists like Woobat's list or Cinccino's gift shop added a solid indicator of what you haven't done yet. Everything has levels, and everything uses the RNG... Pokémon, moves, shops, boxes, levels, buildings, fields, missions, skills, everything.
I just wish it were longer. And no, storyless DLC does not count.
