Well, here it is. In the most insane tier jump in Pokemon history, Politoed has officially gone from being regarded as the best Pokemon in the game to being regarded as lowest tier WITHIN the lowest tier.

Considering that I actually like the Poli line it's a bit depressing. I mean, the weather channel wasn't the best of metas, but, I still certainly feel it was much better than it is now.

It's not like it doesn't make any sense. Drizzle giving Perma-Rain in Gen V made Politoed invaluable simply because it wasn't banned to Ubers like Kyogre.

Without it, the effects of weather aren't nearly as needed and thus every Mon who relied on some type of weather has been hit in someway. Politoed isn't like Kyogre who gets instant gratification in the way of Water Spout. Politoed is a weather setter who has lost it's one niche leaving better options in the form of Ludicolo and even fucking Kabutops who can set rain and then sweep. Meanwhile Politoed, even if it sets rain, still has to rely on a low accuracy sleep move for a safe switch or deal with it's Focus-Scald coverage with it's lackluster speed.

Drizzle is b& in UU and lower. It's only good with Drizzle, and doesn't have the usage to be OU.

But it gets pretty nice usage on the OU ladder.

1825 and 1695, respectively. Rain is still good, it's just not really fucking OP.
