Pokemon you didn't expect to carry your nuzlocke but did.
Mine is sandslash he saved my ass in fire red. Did not expect him to carry me through late game Blaine onwards.

Pic related in my Pokemon X Nuzlocke.

Took anything and everything without putting a dent in him, held Rocky Helmet the majority of the time and I later realised he had perfect IVs in HP. He's now one of my my favorite Pokemon.

tanking. also being the one to beat a gym leader (cant remember which) at low health while the rest of my party fainted.

i use it a lot on tiers all the way up to uu now.

Not plat it's fucking insane. Soul silver is sorta hard because how long it is. Black is a little easier then soul silver.

X is the easiest to start on IMO. Honen is pretty hard but I think imma nuzlocke OR/AS.

Literally just finished my X nuzlocke (no exp share).
Venasaur was amazing, early petal dance and mega evolution made him a cut above the rest of my party.

Tentacruel, Delphox, Granbull and snorlax were alright.

Ended up finishing with Venasaur, Delphox, Snorlax, Tentacruel, Altaria and Trevenant (Died to diantha)

I've never given a shit about Nuzlocke but lately wad thinking about trying it.

Is there a rule about not over leveling one pokemon? I feel like it would be too easy if you just used one powerful pokemon

Well you should obviously try make a team of 6, especially in a Nuzlocke, I think having 1 overleveled mon wouldn't be very helpful.

I've seen some people play with a level cap which means you can't let your Pokemon go over the level of the next gym leaders highest Pokemon, or something like that. That would make it more challenging.
