I hadn't played my copy of Y in almost a year. So I traded all my special pokemon and items to my sister and started over.
I've been soft resetting to get a shiny starter. I've only ever gotten one shiny (SEE a koffing ) and I'd love to get another.
How long did it take you soft-resetters to get a shiny starter?
Also do you have to keep doing the same one over and over? Or are the chances the same if you switch between them? I'd be happy with the grass or water type so I was switching to ease the boredom.
