Lets do what GF should've done five generations ago and split the Kanto/Jhoto Pokemon Leagues. Who would you place as the Elite Four/Champion?

I'd go with Sabrina/Koga/Agatha/Lorelei with Red as Champion for Kanto

and Whitney/Will/Bruno/Karen with Lance as Champion for Jhoto

GF wanted to put Johto in R/B/Y too, but found out that there is not enough space, then decided to make G/S/C. Basically, Kanto and Johto were made to be one single region.

RGBY had a perfectly fine E4. That doesn't change. Bruno/Lorelei/Agatha/Lance and Rival as Chump

In GSC, if there was a separate Johto one, it would contain Will/Karen and two new characters. Lance as Chump. The Kanto one would be the same but Koga replaced Lance and Red is now Chump.

But really though, this idea is stupid.

Except that's wrong.
RGBY were purely about Kanto, the Johto mon may have been held back but there were no plans for the region while the fen 1 games were being made.
Now the reason Kanto was in the gen 2 games is because they were intended to be the final games. It's also why Red is there as a Superboss.
