Hey guys, I want to get into watching pokemans again. I've seen every episode up to the end of the johto arc. I've started to watch a couple x/y episodes. I like em and Serena is best girl and all but I just can't over the fact that ash looks like he's 10 still and his pikachu still loses to chumps when its already level 1,000 by now. You know what I mean? I usually try to ignore logic when watching annimay; however this is too large to overlook. My point is - what season is the best? Should I start with hooen ,d/p/pt or skip them both entirely and go for black/white. I liked Brock as a character so I was thinking to start at d/p because I think that's the season where he leaves at the end. And I'd like to see what bullshit reason they give for his leave

I really like the Oak segments. It's nice to see the anime showing off the Pokemon's dex abilities that aren't utilized in battles. Since Gardevior can make black holes, can a physic Pokemon that's equally powerful - like Alakazam - pull off such a feat? Imagine what (Mega) Mewtwo or Mew are capable of...
