So if the main draw of Pokemon is multiplayer and they've been putting less and less amounts of effort in the single player in each installment as of late, why isn't there any sort of official showdown?
The sales of X and Y obviously indicate that having a terrible single player experience affects nothing, so they should just remove it altogether and quit pretending Pokemon is meant to be an RPG.
