How long is it going to take from incompetent Gamefreak to introduce an NPC that could change your pokemon's current Hidden Power type? I'm not going to take that risk to MM a flawless special attacker that could use HP and the shiny would somewhat have the wrong HP type.

This is why I don't play on cart after the DS wifi plug was pulled. I rather like breeding, but HP and tutor moves forced me to gen.

The problem most people have about the game's difficulty relates to initial playthrough things like easy trainers and Gym Leaders/Elite Four members with low level pokemon and shitty movesets.

Anyone who complains about the IV breeding changes in XY is a retard. It was made reasonably accessible and breeding for the right hidden power is still bullshit

I guess it could be. I never bred for a certain HP before, son can't say anything about it. But right now, breeding is probably the hardest thing you can do offline.

Why can't GameFreak just have a guy that gives you pokemon of your choice and you get to customize nature, gender, IV's, EV's, ball, and after you beat the game, whether it's shiny or not?
