We have plenty of blue-water-type-into-magenta shinies already. This color combo looks fine - the gold is a nice alternative to the silver-and-blue colors of its normal palette.

Personally I like the gold, and Drawfriend doesn't need to worry about the magenta idea, because it's a majority vote for gold. Just looking out for the artist here, it's really frustrating trying to please a lot of people at once.

I'm enjoying this.

Here's my headcanon for what its worth:
Scruwba's are small aquatic pokemon that live near shores along rocks and reefs. Though weak, they use the flashing bio luminescent lights on their "hands" to distract predators before propelling themselves away to safety.

Scrüber on the other hand, are fierce hunters. Thanks to their metal plating, they withstand most attacks from predators. Their giant claws have a similar appearance to fish, Scrüber use them to lure in prey, even fishermen, to bring them under as food. These Pokemon have been known to attack small boats, however scientists are not sure whether this is out of aggression or means of fun. Reproducing asexually, they normally live in deeper waters, only coming to shore to lay eggs among reefs, watching over them until they begin to hatch, to which they swim off to do their own things.

This thread pleases my autism.

We should do this a lot more often. I kinda miss the early months of pokemon sage, and this would be neat, even just as a pokedex with no real playable value. It could even eventually become an online battle simulator if we continue to be better at gamefreak's (Or pokemon or nintendo or whoever comes up with initial designs) job.

This is different because a lot of people were able to add their input and make changes, so there's an extremely strong momentum unlike the other offshoot projects.

Shit, if we stopped here right now it could be counted as complete. Learnsets and stats aren't necessary for such a thing because it will likely never see a romhack anyways.

But if you do decide to give it stats, I request you guys look at the CAPmons and see what made most of them so terrible and unbelievable.
