So, why do people use Talonflame? It's not like it's good or anything, it already outspeeds the whole OU metagame save for Mega Alakazam and Manectric so priority is obsolete, unless it wants to outspeed a Sucker Punch or a scarfer which it won't kill because of shitty attack and will get killed by it in return because shitty defenses. The only reason to use Talonflame is because of Mega Pinsir's Quick Attack but it's becoming less popular now so here's that.

it also gives you the liberty to go adamant and possibly invest in some bulk, which is cool.

I've ragequitted only once a few months ago by DC'ing in a battle against a Klefki faggot. Well no, there was a chance of killing that ugly thing in the battle, but after being an annoying cunt with Klefki he switched to Mega Venusaur and I think I missed an attack or something which just made me go "fuck it" and DC'ed.

Because when people get really mad, they just want to get out of the battle as quick as possible. Disconnecting will get you out faster than forfeiting, then going to that screen that tells you that you just lost 6-0, then having to see your opponent's smug face before being able to actually get out of the whole thing.

Also then they can't save the battle video. But it's more because they want to get out of the battle as quick as possible.
