I spent many days transferring Pokemon from my Ruby to Diamond, and then from Diamond to Black. What makes it tenser is that I had to use an old DS for it, and it's so old and damaged it doesn't charge anymore and I spent the whole time worrying it would give out. For me, getting Pokebank was the only real option - I didn't spend all that time transferring me and my bro's Pokemon all that way just to have them rot in Unova forever.
I had some emotional attachment to some of them too, because they and the old DS belonged to my Pokebro who died a couple of years ago. His parents said I could have them because it's what he'd have wanted. I just wish he could have seen his team in glorious 3D that wasn't on Pokemon Colosseum.
So yeah, I'd say I got muh $5 worth.
