2 - If you have real life friends who play it, trade with them, chances are that they may have unwanted PoKéMoN that they coaught just to fill the dex and breeding leftovers to give away
3 - Use the GTS, it is a good way to get common but hard to get PoKéMoN, such as Ratatta. You can get some legendaries too if you offer another legendary, a shiny, or by offering a Luvdisk if you're lucky
4 - Have patience and try having fun, it will take a while
5 - Backup your save if you can
I wonder how easy it will get to complete the dex on the newer games. With PoKéMoN Bank it will probably be only necessary to catch the new ones if you completed it on the previous game. I hope they come up with more PoKéMoN on the next gen, cause Kalos had so few that it is aways harder to get the older ones.
