Between this, GeoXerneas and Mega Gengar Gen 6 ubers is a complete and utter shithole.

Take a look at UU if you want a good gen 6 meta right now. They sped through the pruning process by making it council-based instead of the long, drawn out process OU uses. Hell, they've already reincorporated a few previously banned mons. Even the viability thread is mostly discussed and up to date. It's not a bad tier to play either since it's tightly balanced. Try it out.

The ironic thing is that M-Gengar is actually a pretty good check to these teams and if it gets banned they're definitely going to dominate until they get banned next

The "broken" aspect of the strategy (besides evasion) is once again Scolipede.
Evasion Clause WILL be reintroduced in ubers, it's a matter of time, but full BP teams would still be too strong.
If they ban Mega Gengar, they might consider banning Scolipede from ubers as well.

That's because any playstyle that isn't part of the holy trinity of hyper offense, balance and stall is dismissed as a gimmick and not taken seriously by the community.
Truth to be told, BP chains have always been lohated since Gen 3 (they weren't all that vable in gen 2 because phazing was unblockable) so they were never accepted as a legitimate playstyle.

It isn't a legitimate playstyle because there's always a way to perfect it. It's the kind of gimmick team that you can quantify very easily. Teambuilding is important because it has so many variables. There's no "best HO team" in OU, and if there is it's probably because the team is using something broken like Mega Kang or Mega Luke back when they were a thing. No one team can tackle absolutely everything a tier can throw at them. In the case of BP chains, the teambuilding strategy had been solved, or was very close to being solved. These six mons, with this specific set of moves works the best. Anyone that wants to run BP chains needs to run this copy-pasted team. It's just like Swagplay.

They're all RU. That's not how the rankings work. Like, OU's ranking, from Bish to D, are all lower tier but they're good or at least have a useful niche in OU. This isn't the case fro the UU thread, there's a lot of pure garbage in it. It's just a minor nitpick, but someone should fix it already.

You're contradicting yourself here.
First you say that there's always a way to perfect BP chains, then you say that it's a "solved" laystyle?
And your comparison with HO is faulty because there are dozens of good offensive pokemon but only a handful of good BP users.
If anything, the fact BP chains are highly formulaic and predictable works against them because all it takes is a single check (Haze or whatever) to shut them down.

By solved I meant perfected just so we're clear. As a strategy you're able to reach a perfect conclusion with BP, where other strategies require extensive teambuilding to reach a conclusion that in a balanced metagame will never be perfect.

Quagsire is complete garbage there and Clefable is prone to become set-up and Taunt bait due to its low stats.
EvasionPass can thrive in ubers because its checks are even less viable there compared to OU.

Although I'm neutral to wanting evasion bans, I want to pass along the reminder of the mechanic change this generation to Minimize. It was lowered to 10 PP, as opposed to 20 in Gen 5, and the moves Steamroller, Stomp, Body Slam, Flying Press, Dragon Rush, and Phantom Force do not miss and inflict double damage if the target has just used Minimize. If it's a huge issue, I suggest packing a Phantom Force+Power Herb Drifblim or a Body Slam+Scrappy Miltank.

Mega Gengar aside, GeoXerneas is by far the most overcentralizing thing in gen 6 ubers, to the same degree Kyogre has been in the past generations.
You need at least two checks for that or you get swept.
It's the most used pokemon in ubers and S-rank on Smogon's viability thread for a reason.
Once Gengarite gets banned it's going to become even more terryfing to face.

Aerial Ace is a shity move that doesn't belong on most sets. If you're sacrificing a moveslot to specifically counter a niche play style, that moveslot is effectively wasted against any other type of team. Hone Claws is a terrible idea since if he sees you trying to buff alongside him he can pass into his taunter and put a stop to that. And considering you have no way of preserving your ridiculous amount of turns spent buffing if he passes to Espeon or Slyveon early and KO's you before you become a threat, your strategy is dead in the water before you even start swimming since he's swimming circles around you the entire game. Also Hone CLaws is kind of a shit buffing move for nearly every situation, so have fun wasting a move slot on your Zekrom or Blaziken, two mons that never want to run it anyway and are easily dispatched by Espeon or Sylveon before you become a threat.

I said if it's common enough m8, if you only see an evasion set once in a blue moon, there's no point in running it, but if you see it ran, then just carry aerial ace on some technician pokemon.
