Daisy has been around for ever, doing all kinds of shit while having a strong tomboy attitude that serves to contrast Peach's "haha I'm blonde where am I woops" personality.
She and her story aren't as popular because of not being in another main game since she was introduced. And that's seriously the only thing going for Rosalina.
They could have just as easily pulled a moveset for her to use in smash the way they gave rosalina "magic and also a luma" out the ass.
Except she would've been much more endearing.
