ok /vp/, since it's Origins canon for pokémon to make more animal-like noises and Ash-n-friends canon for pokémon to say their names as their cries, what's the universally accepted canon for what these little fuckers sound like?

Anime-verse, all Pokemon (except telepathics) say their own names

Origins is based off the Game-verse

Pikachu says its name in the Game-verse too

My headcanon is that when Pikachu were discovered, they named it after the sound it makes.

So canonically, Pikachu do just say "Pee-ka-chuu"
