>>20231563>>20231563but you have to get it in, though; that's hard, as these things are frail as fuck and the thing they're switching on can't be able to damage it massively; the latter even if they come in on a dead comrade.
gengar also still needs to mega evolve in order to trap; it can't do that stuff instantly. it also does not take control out of the opposing trainer's hands; you can switch out predicting the incoming switch to a trapper if you want. you can run pokemon that aren't fucked over by trappers or can damage them heavily.
trapping isn't a coinflip. it's not comparable to swagger or moody. nothing about it is luck-based. it's broken, yeah, but a lot of ubers things are.
>>20231569aegislash isn't great in ubers; its main use is dealing with geoxern, and it's kinda terrible otherwise.
>>20231573those are banned because they remove player skill, though. shadow tag isn't a coinflip like those; it's apples to oranges. i do think that evasion should be re-banned for the same reason.
furthermore, what the fuck's the point of having a banlist if the banlist isn't really a banlist because you are banning things from the banlist? there won't be any honest point to have ubers if you ban shit from it. just like they say when people ask how a pokemon banned from ou would do in ubers - "it doesn't matter; ubers is a banlist first, tier second" - and that still applies, whether it's convenient or not.
>>20231589megagar is definitely cancer, i agree wholeheartedly.
