We elect a champ based on rule of speed, then elect 6 pokemon team members. Champ goes into OU (usually) and fights Smogon tards. We watch and get mad when he messes up. When he gets fed up with our bullshit and needs to take a break to cry he calls for new team or new champ and the cycle continues.
