>>20246612Quiver Dance has tons of users in NU and two in BL. I only use the competitive example because that's probably the only place you'll see Quiver Dance, don't crucify me. Volcarona is unusable in OU because of all the things that laugh at its dual stab, and it can't scare things out as easily as it could in gen 5 which means it has less chances to roost off SR damage. Leading into my second point:
The best bug passers are the ones that are actually kind of broken. They can't do shit on their own but when they pass, shit starts to happen. Venomoth is the second QDer in BL, and it's absolutely devastating right now in UU with the reincorporation test. It can put things to sleep with Sleep Powder and set up Quiver Dances while also laughing at your missed Taunts. Scolipede slapped the entire BP chain team on its back and is still an amazing quickpasser.
Scizor has a heavy U-turn, but that's mainly because it has extremely high attack. Its Steel type does more for it than its Bug type, though they compliment each other almost flawlessly. U-turn is mostly used by non-Bugs anyway.
Sticky Web is niche and usually kind of shit. Galvantula is one of the most overrated mons in UU because of Sticky Web since it dies in two hits to everything and usually can't get SW up more than one time in a match. Shuckle made SW a broken strat in RU, but it doesn't work too well in UU since it goes down too easily even with its high defenses and has no offensive presence. If we ever got a good SW abuser I would be impressed.
I like Bugs, but come on. The good ones are niche or propped up by their secondary typing.
