For me it is the way they threated unown.
They should have linked them more with legendaries. For example if you catch all of them you can catch certain legendary. or unowns having different meaning in different regions. In Sinnoh you should get acces to certain areas

More lore in pokemon would be nice in general

The regis are based off golems from Hebrew mythology.
According to Bulbapedo Groudon is most likely based on the Hebrew legends of Behemoth, the unconquerable primal master of the land. Its counterparts were Leviathan and Ziz.
In gen 3 you had to buy FR/LG R/S/E and XD/Colosseum in order to catch all the pokemon you had to spend a lot of money.
Hoenn which has a lot of water is blue.
Blue is used on Israel's flag
Aqua becomes darker skinned
Aqua is blue
Magma is red
Red and blue pills
nosepass exists
Hoenn babies confirmed for dumb goyim

Agreed with OP, they did add them in Sinnoh yet they never focused on them (as they did in the HGSS games where they were strictly related to Sinnoh folklore) if not for the Pokeball things and Hippopotas or something related, even introduced ? and ! without any difference in stats and abilities.

Now in ORAS they'll keep the Wonder Trade, Pokebank and hordes of rare Pokemon at least, probably Friend Safari or something similar too so the game won't be extremely poor compared to the same generation of the XY Kalos.

wait a second.. the games are from Japan so obviously the originals are in japanese, at least they were thought to be on japanese first.
everybody in the world of pokemon talks in japanese from the perspective of the "original public", yet Unowns have the form of the latin characters...
