Powersaves can be a bitch. Try restarting your computer. Try all the USB ports. Try putting it in different ways (plug it in first then insert cart/plug it in with cart already inserted). I have 2 laptops and it doesn't work on one of them (gateway) but works on the other (Lenovo ThinkPad *praise /g/*) so idk.

Switching to Windows 7 is what made it work in the end. (barely)
