The tier is too offensive for most wishpassers. Most of the time stats doesn't slow things down enough to warrant using a cleric. Latias with Healing Wish is typically better.

But this is largely untrue when Sylveon walls almost all special attackers without psyshock or something similar. You can always get a wish or heal bell off before switching to another mon.

In a metagame were both WoW and t-wave are largely popular, I would disagree.

it's straight up demolished by most physical attackers

it gets 2hko'd by latios (psyshock) and landorus (sludge wave), and mega-gardevoir (psyshock)
thundurus can fuck it over with taunt or even kill it by itself (parahax is a bitch)
aegislash destroys it too but that'll get banned soon
it has trouble against charizard-y and can only wishtect stall and hope that charizard gets consistently low rolls and if it gets a burn it's fucked

its movesets are predictable as hell and it's a free opportunity for heatran/ferrothorn to set up rocks and for things like mega-scizor/mawile to use as setup fodder

i'm surprised it's still ou seeing that barely anybody uses it, it must barely be hanging on

tl;dr it has very few sets it can run, predictable as all hell, can't do shit against the best special attackers in ou, can't do shit against physical attackers in general and is completely helpless against one of the most common types in ou; steel

It's 36 in usage, where Chansey is 27 and Latias is 26. These are fairly outdated statistics though.

Chansey is 27th in 1695 and 7th in 1825. I normally use 695 stats since those are the ones that matter in usage and it's where I'm closest to.

Sylveon 2hko's everything you mentioned bar Smogonsword and Gardevoir, and OHKO's Latios after SR. It just about walls Heatran as well. (Haven't done calcs, so I might be wrong about that)

Chansey gets shit on by knock off. I'd rather use Blissey or Sylveon. Sylveon's main problem is all those Steel types running around (Scizor, Excadrill, Heatran, ety cetera). Nearly everyone has at least one, and they crap all over my bro Sylveon, so you gotta kill the steel types before you bring him in.

I've personally boosted and swept with sylveon against both zard Y and heatran with the calm mind set. Having two good counters doesn't make sylveon bad, either. You have physically defensive mons for a reason.
