So let's say next gen they either retcon Hypno or he get's an evolved for, so that it resembles this.

He's right, that BST is higher than most mythical pokemon's BST.

Here's what a potential Mega Evolution could do:

Psychic
85/73/110/103/155/57

And an ability that expands on Bad Dreams and lets it actively feed on the HP of sleeping pokemon. Mega Darkrai could get this ability too.

Hypno is in a very awkward spot as a pokemon, having equally mediocre attack, defense and sp.attack while only standing out in sp.defense, so there's not much you can immediately do to make it viable without a Parental Bond-tier ability.

If a Pokémon with this Ability uses a specially based move, theres a 20% chance the target will be put to sleep.

i hate it when people try to make a mega for their favorites and make it blatantly overpowered because they believe their favorite is sunkern-tier or something and still act like it'll be shit anyways.

I don't think it's broken unless Hypno becomes very bulky/quick. Darkrai is scary because of it's 125 Base Speed and 90% AOE sleep.

Hypno most likely won't be attacking first and doesn't get the stat boost turn one if he's a Mega, so Hypnotic would only have one turn, maybe two turns, to go off.
