What common fire types give a shit about Vaporeon and Milotic? Even in UU, the tier where Fire types rule, they always have team support to take care of said water types. Oh yeah, and in UU the water types that are good are the ones with high defense instead of the ones with high special defense since most of the threats in the tier that they resist are physical. If they predict correctly, something like banded Victini can almost OHKO 252 HP 252 Def Milotic with Bolt Strike and not go down to Hydrop Pump. So this "it beats fire types" argument is simply moronic. And then you get into OU, where the best Fire types laugh at Hydro Pumps from Milotic. Heatran isn't even close to OHKO'd, Char X takes neutral damage, and Char Y takes even less damage since it has the sun to back it up. All the while Milotic is a liability on the team since it's carrying Hydro Pump instead of Scald.

Yeah Milotic is "different" but CroCune is just more effective. It is a refined set that has been effective for a decade, most teams even today are weak to it.
