-Gamefreak does not offer 6v6 singles (or even doubles) on Battlespot. At all. It's not a format they support, so I don't get why people would all go "hurf it's a fansite meta" when it's the only 6v6 singles meta.
-6v6 singles are hilariously imbalanced without a banlist, at least with things like mega mom and gengar
-The power creep Pokemon has had the last two gens is absolutely unreal and some people don't enjoy putting up with that shit. Go to DPPt or ADV where you could have balance with hardly anything banned.
We're pretty much done with the "this shit is broken so we're banning it," now everything is just banning it to hope it improves the meta.
