But unless you're using it because you adore the mega, normal alakazam with magic guard is a fair bit better than the mega. Though the wizard beard is hard to argue with.
If you are using it because you want to use mega alakazam though, modest is better like everyone's said, timid isn't going to raise your speed significantly due to the speed-tier it's in already.
