It was pretty shitty though. When you were a kid, it would have been cool although now you can look back at it and realise it's a mediocre game with little replay value.

Although the idea of it was pretty cool. They could release a sequel with much more content and it would be pretty fun.

My gf recently just did a run through of that game to get the Jirachi. I pleaded with her to just do the bare minimum and reset the clock to do it in 1day, but she insisted on doing it "properly". Those God damn recycled voice clips, and the stupid quiz show where you have to watch dumbass pokemon guess the answer and you can't participate. IT'S A TEDIURSA YOU SHIT.
I still don't have my Jirachi, not sure I can bare to get it.

You know, I can't think of any other franchise where the fandom will turn their noses at anything other than a main series title. That may not exactly be true, but at least more of them are willing to play the spinoffs than the main series. Here? Nope. If it's not main series, into the garbage it goes. It sickens me because a lot of the things that people seek from pokemon are found in the spinoffs, and no one is willing to realize it.
