After years I think I'm just done with Smogon OU. There's nothing really wrong with banning Aegislash as it makes the metagame better but the amount of bans/rules is getting to the point where it's not "true" Pokemon battling anymore. Aegislash was designed specifically with competitive play in mind, something GF has never done before, and Smogon has to remove it from the game. That just doesn't seem right to me.

Maybe I'll get into Smogon Doubles or something, it keeps the advantages of Smogon-made metas while sticking with very minimal bans and isn't as stale as VGC doubles
