Torterra is a mix of the World Turtle from Hindu lore, as well as traits of the Ankylosauridae family. It's why I absolutely love its design.

Well, I don't like penguins or monkeys so I was a bit short on choice.

Though grotle and torterra are way cuter than turtwig so it's not all bad. Portable shade is nice too, I could imagine a trainer napping on its back while it walks to the next town.
