How good would Florges be if she really was Fairy/Grass like what everyone hoped? Would a resistance to Earthquakes,Aqua Jets and a Spore immunity really get her out of the "inferior Sylveon" problem?

That's certainly the most common poison move around in OU and it's mostly people from showderp using it.

Now lovely things like Gengar, Landorus, and Nidoking OHKO it with poison moves.
It's also now weak to Fire, Bug, Ice, and Flying.

I'm not even sure it could stay in UU.

It would make sense, but then it would gain EVEN MORE weaknesses as the other anons pointed out. I don't think it's worth the typing unless it gets a mega (which is highly unlikely).

I do wish that Flower Shield also granted STAB/power boost to it and other pokemon's grass moves, then it could stand out a bit more.
