sinnoh is still fine, it already has all the modern shit everone is accustom too that makes playing the old games painful, a remake would only make it look worse and ruin the soundtrack.

I'm actually replaying Diamond right now and the battle system is so slow it's kind of irritating.

Also, most of that modern shit you're talking about was introduced in Gen V. Sinnoh still has ancient things like box actions on the top screen, single use TMs, no dowsing machine, and pokecenters/marts being separate buildings.

I didn't put much thought into it, but yeah they probably would. HGSS was terrible with its overuse of xylophones, and ORAS so far sounds like they overdid it with the trumpets.

Why would they ever make Sinnoh remakes? The point of remakes is so that pokemon exclusive to previous games can be caught on the latest systems. I can't see Nintendo ever dropping DS backwards compatibility in the future

Just pointing out Gamefreak's pattern for remakes seems to be one set for every new hardware from Nintendo, not a set for each generation.

FRLG on GBA
HGSS on DS
ORAS on 3DS
DP remakes on the Gameboy DS 5000

It will come no matter what because:

1. GF realize that they will never make a new game that is better than the one before so they have to go back & remake an older game every now & then to compensate.

2. Genwunners are born every second only the more we advance in time the later is the gen that they will circlejerk about since it will be their first & they'll have extreme nostalgia towards it. GF has to satisfy those as well because they'll probably never like a game that isn't the same style as the one they first played.

3. Soon enough pixels & sprites will not only be obsolete but also unbearable, add to that nerfs/buffs & changes in mechanics that happened across time. Fans who enjoyed DPPt won't be able to enjoy it anymore so they'll demand remakes, & as we all know GF has to hear the fans' cries. :^)

It was possible to complete the Pokedex prior to HG/SS, just like its possible to complete it without ORAS.

The only remakes that were necessary for making Pokemon available were FRLG.
