Isn't Aerial Ace named after a katana striking a bird or something in Japanese, and has technically nothing to do with actually flying, so it's actually much more plausible on most of the Pokemon that get it?

Whatever happened to Aerial Ace, anyway? Every NPC in Gen 3 seemed to have it, along with Sky Uppercut, and they both completely vanished from later games.

Most NPCs just have the last four moves learned by level-up on their Pokemon, and only Spearow/Fearow and Taillow/Swellow learned it by level-up in Gen 3.

Winona gave it out as her TM, so all of her Pokemon had it, of course.
