A couple of months after it started

Best memory has to be when I finally could afford a game (Gen V days) and people on wifi general were kind to help me filling the dex. Pretty much the only thread were there are decent people.

I've been here since the beginning, but I really only come in and out during major events/news/releases or I'm just bored with other boards. Probably my favorite memories are the guy who did Lattjo Lajban or when we would make 3X3 grids of Pokemon with similar features/traits and others had to guess what each row/column/diagonal was.

I don't know. I lurked a long-ass time on /vp/ before I even posted anything, and it was mainly because I was trying to keep up with Pokemon / battling because I knew the kind folks at 4chan were usually trustworthy in these kinds of things. I had friends that were into it and I wanted to be able to show them up and learn more (from actual people that actually battled) without bothering them all the time.

I've been on 4chan in general since I was 18. So...doing some maths, I've been around for about three years. Probably more like 3 1/2.

I used to lurk /b/ like it was my job.

I like how for the first few months it was so questionable here that they just kept making Pokemon Generals because competitive/battlin generals were actively so bad at competitive.

And then there was the point where there was a project to give everyone a tripcode as a Pokemon but too many people kept picking the same Pokemon so the whole thing was scrapped when they realized giving everyone a tripcode was a stupid idea.

Been here since B2W2 leaks. I still remember that fake male rival with Bianca's glasses that /vp/ went gay for. The best thing though were the X and Y leaks, holy shit, all the Fairy threads and that 4 stage evolution thread that was stickied. Though we never recovered from all the underage that entered /vp/ due to those leaks.

Maybe like June last year? I forget exactly when I remembered that 4chan had a Pokemon board but I know I was around for the Honedge reveal in July.

My favorite moment was probably either when the games people started getting copies of XY or Megascoop (which is the closest I think we will ever get to Wottergate again). I remember during the very beginning of the leaks my internet went out, so I missed a few days and I had to go out to use campus Wifi to catch up.

Started browsing since I started getting back into Pokémon around October of last year. I don't think I really have a favorite memory, I just overall enjoy the more friendly atmosphere here, while it's still undeniably 4chan.

Like, my opinions are always wrong and everybody has autism but at least most of the regulars who come here aren't complete bastards, and the number of giveaway/trade threads we have speaks volumes of that.

This is how I solved the dialga problem when I was 6 and got Pearl.

All things considered, we moderated ourselves really well. The porn threads kept to themselves, and were always spoiler'd. Gary was just and fair. The only thing we couldn't handle was Bui and his no-life vpn spam.
