Started with a good base-- a cool looking, sleek dark fox type thing. But after that, GF basically shot themselves in the foot.
>Unnecessarily difficult to get in game>An ability that masks itself, making it difficult to attach to>Not particularly strong or useful>Movie that gave it a dumb role and overshadowed itself with 3 shiny god damn legendaries and it's pre-evo>No speaking role, making it hard to relate to>Treated more as a feral animal than a "character"Counter that against everything Lucario did right, and you can see why. GF practically tried to eliminate an audience for it. It's one of my favorite designs, and even to this day I sometimes forget about it.
Still hoping for a mega, though
