It's ugly, and the worst Kalos Starter. It's Delphox tier. Fennekin, Braixen and the Froakie line is all good. though.

How do people make him Viable? I'm no Pokemon savant but those weaknesses coupled with nothing noticeable in his move-pool leave me a little skeptical of his usability outside cheesing Gengar.

I use him all the time in +1600 OU and he's excellent. Can take any physical hits as long its not brave bird and the ability to set up spikes along with leech seeding is fun. Grass/Fighting is a nice defensive typing combo.

Second this. It's fine, but not standout despite viability and it won't change until tutors are released.

Also, the ingame model is pretty derpy. It has sausage arms and generally poor battle animations.
