I know there is, but it just makes sense for shinies to have perfect IVS or maybe two perfect IVS like the others stated.

IVS are useful. They shouldn't be removed at all.

They keep the casuals separated from the competitive scene. Same with EVs.

I always wanted to have different colored Pokemon. IVs, EVs, Natures etc all exist to make each and every Pokemon different, and adding different colors is one great step,although Smogon doesn't agree with them

I don't even mind IVs, I breed awesome Pokémon for myself and my friends, but to act like knowledge of IVs or the patience to acquire them makes you special is scumbag-tier. Dows it make you feel good to beat up that ten-year-old's level 79 Blastoise?
