Not that guy but, I don't know man, I love pokemon but I'm a lot more excited about Smash (with all the new characters and new stuff) rather than a remake of a game I played for hundreds of hours already. Plus, Smash will start leaking around the end of the month so... yeah.

But if you want to start an argument, changing something to please the 1%(some of the only players who will stay on board for 13 years) will have 0 adverse affects on the other 99%. Alternatively, changing shit that the 99% won't care about anyway will in fact affect the 1% negatively.

On one hand I'm like to see Wally with a Gallade, it would at least be a little different considering Diantha's Mega Gardevoir is still very fresh.
On the other hand I cannot see Gallade working with Wally's character, his pokemon is Gardevoir; it suits him.

consoles like the 3DS and PS3 sold like shit at the beginning but still got consistent software support and ended up with great sales. nintendo always support a console regardless of sales anyway and that's they're the only reason to ever buy a nintendo console

The Wii U isn't a failure of a console any more.
It's got Mario Kart 8 already with Smash Bros, new LoZ, Hyrule Warriors, Splatoon, Mario Maker, Bayonetta 2, X etc. etc. etc. all coming out for it in the next year. Plus, GBA and DS titles along with GameCube games undoubtedly joining the eShop when Smash Bros is released with the GameCube USB adaptor.
