All these posts saying "Use x obscure set" or "Use y obscure counter" isn't exactly helping your case that they shouldn't be banned.
Pretty sure that having to use obscure, one-Pokémon-only counters/checks is one of the primary reasons for banning something.

Fair enough. Electric types are a great counter to thunder wave spam, really it just comes down to take a minute and think about the problems you had in a battle and think about ways to counter that issue, and find a mon and set that has synergy with your team
