>>20376959Swalot is garbage in RSE, I even bred a Gulpin before Flannery so it had Liqui Ooze and a Calm nature iirc, worst team member, every E4 that wasn't Sidney shat on it so did the Gym Leaders. Was using Toxic Protect Sludge Bomb and Shadow Ball (all my teams from RS get transferred to Platinum). From mt experience I can say Swalot is a dead weight and worst Poison type in RSE if you consider Poison as first type.
Since I've done a 4 Poison Pokemon run + starter + underlevelled HM slave I can only suggest Muk, Weezing, Tentacruel, Vileplume, Crobat and Seviper depending on cartridge as best Poison members in Hoenn. Roselia and Dustox will probably have their own solid debut in ORAS Hoenn.
